Early Life and Education
Born to Carol, who is British, and Earl Brosnahan, an American of Irish heritage, Rachel spent her early childhood in Milwaukee before moving to Highland Park, Illinois at age four.
She has two younger siblings and is related to the late fashion designer Kate Spade.
From a young age, Rachel was passionate about acting, participating in musical theater during junior high and high school.
Alongside acting, she was active in wrestling and worked as a snowboarding instructor in high school. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 2008 and later earned her degree from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2012.
