Mary Louise Streep, professionally known as Meryl Streep (born June 22, 1949) is an American actress widely regarded for her versatility, precision, and mastery of accents. A graduate of Vassar College and the Yale School of Drama, she has built a long standing career and is also known for advocating gender equality and labor rights in the film industry.

Family life
She married Don Gummer in 1978. The couple had three daughters, Mamie, Grace, and Louisa, and a son, Henry. They separated in 2017.
