Emma Stone, born Emily Jean Stone on November 6, 1988, is an American actress and film producer. Her honors include two Academy Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Volpi Cup. In 2017 she was the world’s highest-paid actress and was listed among Time magazine’s 100 most influential people.
Before fame
She made her stage debut at the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona at age eleven.
Trivia
As an infant she suffered from colic caused by excessive crying, which contributed to her distinctive low voice. She portrayed Gwen Stacy in both The Amazing Spider-Man films.
Family life
She grew up with a younger brother, Spencer Stone. After co-starring in The Amazing Spider-Man, she began dating Andrew Garfield in 2011; they separated in October 2015. In October 2017 she started a relationship with SNL director Dave McCary. The couple became engaged in December 2019 and married in 2020. In March 2021 they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Louise Jean McCary.
