Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, born on October 22, 1992, known as 21 Savage, is a British-born rapper based in Atlanta. He began recording in 2013, released three mixtapes, and broke through with the Metro Boomin EP Savage Mode (2016), which reached No. 23 on the Billboard 200; its singles “X” (feat. Future) and “No Heart” hit the Hot 100 top 40. He also appeared on Drake’s “Sneakin'” and signed with Epic Records in January 2017.
Before fame
While in seventh grade, he was expelled from DeKalb County schools after being found with a firearm. In 2013, following the murder of a friend, he was shot six times; this period prompted him to pursue rap more seriously.

Family life
Born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph in the United Kingdom, he moved to the U.S. at age 12 and settled in Atlanta. His mother is Dominican and his father is from Saint Vincent in the Caribbean. He dated Amber Rose from 2017 to 2018. He has two sons and a daughter with different partners. Rumors linked him with Latto beginning in 2020; she confirmed their relationship in September 2025, and in March 2026 they announced they are expecting their first child together.
