Michael Rainey Jr. (born September 22, 2000) is a young American actor who started his career by appearing in Un Altro Mondo. He has also appeared on reality TV shows such as The Real, Tamron Hall and Made in Hollywood. He is popular mostly due to his role on the Starz show Power.

Early life and education
Michael Rainey jr. is the son of Shauna Small and Michael Rainey Sr. Rainey traces his Jamaican ancestry back to his mother.
From the age of one, Rainey Jr. was raised in Staten Island, New York, where his father resides. The homeless care agency ‘Find and Feed’ is supported by Rainey Jr.
His mother taught him at home. Michael has been a dedicated basketball player since he was a young child. He met a talent scout when he was nine years old while strolling around New York City with his mother. This experience led to his employment in TV advertisements.
He moved abroad for a year at the tender age of ten after being chosen for the Italian movie “Un altro mondo” (2010). He learned Italian as a new language for the movie. Michael attracted the attention of the elite in the business with his performance in the movie and received a great deal of praise for his proficiency in Italian. After arriving home, Michael’s career flourished.
Career
He landed his first acting role when he was seven years old in the American educational children’s programme “Sesame Street” from 1969.
After appearing in Un Altro Mundo at the age of 10, Rainey Jr. went on to star in a number of other films and television programmes, including 211, Orange is the New Black, Barbershop,Amateur and Power.
In the current iteration of the Power franchise, Book II, Rainey Jr. starred as Tariq St. Patrick, Rainey Jr. and Power co-star Gianni Paolo established Twenty Two Entertainment in March 2022. The Crew Has It, a self-hosted podcast, was the first undertaking.
