Career
In 2002, Chris Hemsworth made his acting debut in modest roles on Australian television programmes like “Guinevere Jones,” “Neighbours,” and “Home and Away.” His portrayal of Kim Hyde on “Home and Away,” which he portrayed from 2004 to 2007, helped him earn some notoriety in Australia.
Hemsworth relocated to Hollywood in 2009 in order to advance his profession. He originally had trouble finding employment and thought about going back to Australia, but he eventually got the part of George Kirk in the 2009 movie “Star Trek.” Despite the limited size of his job, it gave him exposure and opened up other opportunities.
His major break came in 2011, when he was chosen to play the title role in the Marvel movie “Thor.” Hemsworth’s performance as the superhero was lauded, and the movie was both a commercial and critical triumph.
He later returned to play the same character in two sequels, “Thor: The Dark World” (2013) and “Thor: Ragnarok” (2017), and also in a number of other Marvel movies, such as “The Avengers” (2012), “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (2015), “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018), and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019).

Hemsworth has acted in a number of blockbuster films in addition to his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including “Snow White and the Huntsman” (2012), “Red Dawn” (2012), “Rush” (2013), “In the Heart of the Sea” (2015), “Ghostbusters” (2016), “Bad Times at the El Royale” (2018), and “Men in Black: International” (2019).

Early in 2010, Hemsworth started dating Spanish model and actress Elsa Pataky. In December 2010, they got married. India Rose, a daughter, was born to the couple in May 2012, and Sasha and Tristan, twin males, were born in March 2014. The family relocated to Byron Bay, New South Wales, in his home country of Australia, in 2015, leaving Los Angeles behind.
